This new initiative will provide investigative research, in-depth features, exclusive interviews, and opinion pieces, enriching editorial content across the company’s renowned brands. Reporters and authors located in the USA and Europe will contribute to outlets such as BILD, WELT, POLITICO, BUSINESS INSIDER, MORNING BREW, ONET, the Polish NEWSWEEK, FORBES, and more. All editorial teams within Axel Springer will have access to the invaluable work produced by the Global Reporters Network.

BILD’s Deputy Editor-in-Chief Paul Ronzheimer and WELT’s Deputy Editor-in-Chief Robin Alexander will join the network, bringing their expertise and experience. The network also welcomes prominent figures such as Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the internationally bestselling author of Infidel, Heretic, and Nomad, and former politician, as well as James Kirchick, New York Times-bestselling author and former writer-at-large for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Kirchick is a well-regarded journalist with extensive publications.

In the coming months, the Axel Springer Global Reporters Network will expand its reach, with additional reporters and authors set to join the team. The leadership of the network will rotate between the Editors-in-Chief of BILD, WELT, POLITICO, BUSINESS INSIDER, and ONET, starting with John Harris, Editor-in-Chief of POLITICO, following initial efforts by Ulf Poschardt, publisher of PREMIUM-GRUPPE. Klaus Geiger, formerly Senior Executive Editor at POLITICO Germany, will lead the operational side of the network, while Gordon Repinski, Executive Editor at POLITICO Germany, will oversee the PREMIUM-GRUPPE’s political competence center.
