(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 21-Aug-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Aviva and Tesco Insurance & Money Services have launched a new partnership to provide Tesco shoppers and Clubcard members with straightforward, affordable, and trusted life insurance solutions. The collaboration aims to make protection more accessible while also rewarding customers through Tesco’s established loyalty programme.

By combining Tesco’s strong brand recognition and customer-focused approach with Aviva’s underwriting expertise and long-standing reputation in life insurance, the partnership seeks to reach millions of households across the UK. Tesco customers will be able to access the new life insurance plan online at tescoinsurance.com and through digital engagement channels, as well as in hundreds of Tesco stores nationwide.

The Aviva Life Insurance Plan for Tesco customers offers a simple digital journey, fully mobile-optimised for ease and convenience. With cover starting at just £5 per month and a 5-star Defaqto rating, the plan provides customers with both affordability and reliability. In 2024, Aviva paid out more than £862 million in life insurance and terminal illness claims, representing a claims success rate of 98.8% across its protection range, giving policyholders added reassurance.

In addition to financial protection, Tesco customers who take out the plan will also have access to a range of complementary wellbeing services designed to support their health and resilience. These services are provided as non-contractual benefits and are subject to terms, conditions, and residency restrictions.
