(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 3-Feb-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — ASSA ABLOY AB (STO: ASSA-B) has completed the acquisition of NSP Security (NSP), a UK-based specialist in electronic access control solutions with a strong focus on the student accommodation sector. The transaction strengthens ASSA ABLOY’s presence in the hospitality and smart access market by adding a technologically advanced and complementary capability to its existing portfolio.

Nico Delvaux, President and CEO of ASSA ABLOY, said that the acquisition represents a valuable technological enhancement to the group’s hospitality offering. He emphasized that NSP’s expertise will not only reinforce ASSA ABLOY’s current capabilities but also create new growth opportunities within the segment.

Stephanie Ordan, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Technologies’ Global Solutions business unit, highlighted that NSP brings deep experience in electronic access control systems across a broad range of student accommodation customers. She noted that the company is a strong strategic fit for Global Solutions and will expand ASSA ABLOY’s reach within the Hospitality business area. She also welcomed NSP’s employees to the ASSA ABLOY organization.

Founded in 1993, NSP Security employs approximately 20 people and is headquartered in Borehamwood, United Kingdom. NSP generated sales of approximately GBP 8 million in 2024, equivalent to around SEK 100 million, with a strong EBIT margin. ASSA ABLOY confirmed that the acquisition will be accretive to earnings per share from the outset, reflecting NSP’s solid financial performance and strategic value to the group.
