Admiral Expands Board Expertise with Appointment of Technology and Finance Leader Carlos Selonke

(IN BRIEF) Admiral Group plc has appointed Carlos Selonke as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Currently CIO of Revolut UK, Selonke brings more than 20 years of technology and financial services leadership experience, having previously served in senior CIO roles at Santander in the UK and the Americas. Admiral Chair Mike Rogers highlighted his international digital transformation expertise as valuable to the Group’s strategic ambitions, while Selonke said he is honoured to join and looks forward to contributing to Admiral’s data-driven growth. CEO Milena Mondini de Focatiis welcomed the appointment, noting that it supports ongoing evolution of products and services for customers. The announcement is made under Listing Rule 6.4.6R and no additional disclosures are required.

(PRESS RELEASE) CARDIFF, 10-Dec-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Admiral Group plc has appointed Carlos Selonke as an Independent Non-Executive Director, bringing extensive digital transformation and financial technology experience to the Board. The appointment takes effect immediately and strengthens the Group’s strategic capability in technology, operations and data-driven customer services.

Carlos Selonke currently serves as Chief Information Officer at Revolut UK, where he oversees technology infrastructure, banking operations, payments systems and customer support functions. With more than twenty years in financial services technology leadership, he has held multiple senior posts at Santander, including CIO roles for the bank’s UK division and several of its U.S. business units. His background combines operational resilience, technology management and large-scale transformation in regulated financial environments. Carlos also holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an engineering degree from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in Brazil.

Mike Rogers, Chair of Admiral Group, welcomed the appointment, noting that Carlos brings substantial sector knowledge from major consumer finance brands. “His experience in digital operations and risk-aware technology management will support Admiral as it continues to invest in data and technology to enhance customer value,” he said.

Selonke expressed enthusiasm for joining the Board, emphasising Admiral’s customer-first culture and strong data capabilities. He said he looks forward to supporting the Group’s digital strategy and long-term growth. The appointment complies with Listing Rule 6.4.6R and Admiral confirms that no further disclosures are required under Listing Rule 6.4.8R.
