By combining high-quality optics, ergonomic design, and digital connectivity, ZEISS supports improved patient care while helping dental professionals work more comfortably and efficiently over the long term.

(PRESS RELEASE) JENA, 16-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — ZEISS Medical Technology is showcasing its advanced visualization portfolio for dentistry at the UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC) in Dubai, highlighting solutions designed to improve clinical precision, support ergonomic working practices, and streamline workflows in dental practices. The presentation features ZEISS medical loupes and dental microscopes that combine high optical performance with user-focused design to support both patient outcomes and long-term practitioner well-being.

ZEISS visualization systems offer high levels of magnification and uniformly illuminated treatment fields, enabling dentists to work with greater accuracy across a wide range of procedures, from prophylaxis and restorative dentistry to endodontics and surgery. At the same time, these solutions are engineered to reduce eye strain and promote upright, natural posture, helping clinicians maintain comfort and physical health over the course of their careers.

The expanded ZEISS portfolio of medical loupes on display includes the EyeMag® Family, which delivers detailed visual clarity through precision ZEISS optics. With functional designs and multiple working distance options, the loupes support accurate visualization while encouraging ergonomic positioning during routine and complex dental procedures.

For microscope-assisted dentistry, ZEISS is presenting the OPMI PROergo, a dental microscope developed to support microdentistry applications that demand exceptional visibility. Equipped with an integrated Varioskop® and compatible with the Foldable Tube f170/f260, the system offers a large field of view across all magnification levels and high flexibility, even in challenging treatment positions. Its coaxial illumination delivers homogeneous, high-contrast lighting with daylight-like color characteristics, ensuring that fine anatomical structures, such as narrow root canals, are clearly visualized.

ZEISS is also highlighting the EXTARO 300 dental microscope, designed to enable seamless workflows and precise hand-eye coordination. The system’s multifunctional Mode Control allows dentists to adjust visualization, capture modes, focus, and lighting using a single hand, supporting uninterrupted procedures while maintaining an ergonomic seated position. This approach helps clinicians stay focused on the treatment field without compromising comfort or efficiency.

To complement hardware solutions, ZEISS offers a range of iOS- and web-based applications that extend the functionality of the EXTARO 300. These digital tools support patient communication, documentation workflows, and professional collaboration. The ZEISS Connect App, for example, enables efficient digital management of treatment data and integration with existing dental practice IT systems, supporting more transparent and engaging patient interactions.

At AEEDC, ZEISS will also host clinical experts who actively use ZEISS visualization systems in practice. Dr. Tetsuya Uchiyama will present a technique for proximal composite restoration using dental microscopy and rubber dams, while Dr. Marc Habib will discuss the benefits of microscopic magnification in endodontic treatments. ZEISS will exhibit its dental solutions from January 19 to 21, 2026, in Hall 7, Booth E01.
