ANDRITZ to Supply Needlepunch Line to Şiteks for Expanded Production

(IN BRIEF) ANDRITZ has been selected by Turkish insulation felt manufacturer Şiteks to supply a complete needlepunch line for its Tekirdag facility. This investment will significantly increase Şiteks’ production capacity to meet global demand for needlepunched nonwoven insulation products in the automotive and construction industries. The new line, which can process various fibers including recycled and natural fibers, is set to begin operations in early 2025. This marks the second needlepunch line Şiteks has purchased from ANDRITZ, furthering their commitment to sustainability and high-quality production.

(PRESS RELEASE) GRAZ, 19-Jun-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — International technology group ANDRITZ has been selected by Turkish insulation felt manufacturer Şiteks to supply a comprehensive needlepunch line for its production facility in Tekirdag. This strategic investment will enable Şiteks to significantly boost its production capacity, catering to the rising global demand for needlepunched nonwoven insulation products in the automotive and construction industries. The new production line is expected to be operational by the first quarter of 2025, marking the second such line purchased by Şiteks from ANDRITZ.

The ANDRITZ needlepunch eXcelle line, tailored for Şiteks, is capable of processing various fiber types, including natural fibers, and is engineered to deliver high productivity, superior quality, and sustainability.
