Laura Winters, Public Engagement Officer for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at the University of Liverpool, shared: “This will be Liverpool’s 8th Pint of Science festival, and we’re delighted to be part of this international event. Not only are we having fun and inviting people to learn something new, but we are also shining a spotlight on the incredible research happening right here in Liverpool. Pint of Science gives researchers the opportunity to share their stories, and audiences the chance to ask questions about science from the very people behind it.”

In addition to the exciting talks, attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in the largest ever multi-city pub quiz, in association with interactive quiz company, KwizzBit. Teams will compete against other cities in a science-themed trivia challenge, with the chance to claim the top spot both locally and across the UK.
