Based in Johannesburg, Tristan succeeds Bernard Peille, who has moved on to lead Alstom’s operations in the Latin America cluster.

Tristan le Masne brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as Vice President for Finance in Alstom’s Africa, Middle East, and Central Asia (AMECA) region. He has been a key figure in Alstom since joining the company in 2009, with previous roles including Vice President of Internal Audit and Internal Control in Paris. His leadership and financial expertise are expected to further strengthen Alstom’s strategic position in Southern Africa, where the company operates four key entities: Gibela Rail, Alstom Rolling Stock South Africa, Bombela Maintenance, and Alstom Ubunye.
