Stora Enso Appoints Niclas Rosenlew as CFO and Carolyn Wagner as EVP of Packaging Solutions

(IN BRIEF) Stora Enso has appointed Niclas Rosenlew as the new Group Chief Financial Officer and Carolyn Wagner as the Executive Vice President of the Packaging Solutions division. Both will join the company by January 2025, bringing extensive experience and industry insight to support Stora Enso’s growth and strategic goals.

(PRESS RELEASE) HELSINKI, 24-Jul-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Stora Enso has announced the appointment of Niclas Rosenlew as the Group Chief Financial Officer and Carolyn Wagner as the Executive Vice President of the Packaging Solutions division. Niclas Rosenlew will replace Seppo Parvi, who has decided to pursue his career outside the company, while Carolyn Wagner will take over from Ad Smit, who will be retiring. Both appointments will take effect by January 2025, and they will join Stora Enso’s Group Leadership Team.

New Leadership to Drive Financial and Strategic Growth

Niclas Rosenlew, currently the Group CFO at SKF, a Swedish industrial company, brings extensive experience in leading and reshaping large international organizations. He has previously held senior finance positions at Basware, Microsoft, and Nokia. Niclas holds a Master of Science degree in Finance.

Carolyn Wagner, who currently serves as the Divisional CEO of the Packaging Division at Klingele Paper & Packaging Group in Germany, brings deep industry insight to her new role. She has held senior positions at several European corrugated packaging companies, including DS Smith and SCA. Carolyn holds a degree in Graduate Engineer Packaging Technology.
