SSAB Appoints Helena Norrman as EVP & Head of Group Communications

(IN BRIEF) SSAB has appointed Helena Norrman as its new EVP and Head of Group Communications, a role created within the Group Executive Committee. With her extensive background in communications, Norrman will play a key role in supporting SSAB’s transformation towards fossil-free steel production. She brings valuable experience from her time at Kekst CNC and Ericsson and is excited to contribute to the company’s communications strategy moving forward.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 22-Jan-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — SSAB has announced the appointment of Helena Norrman as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Head of Group Communications, a newly established role within the company’s Group Executive Committee. Helena is set to take on this position starting April 16, where she will be responsible for overseeing all communications functions at SSAB.

Norrman joins SSAB from Kekst CNC, a global communications consultancy, where she served as a partner and communications advisor. She brings with her a wealth of experience from her previous leadership roles at Ericsson, a global telecom giant. At Ericsson, Norrman was responsible for leading Marketing and Corporate Relations and was an integral part of the company’s Executive Team.
