(PRESS RELEASE) MLADÁ BOLESLAV, 6-May-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Škoda Auto is celebrating European Diversity Month with the unveiling of the Elroq Respectline, a concept car designed to reflect the company’s core values of respect, inclusion, diversity, equality, and fairness. These principles are deeply embedded in Škoda Auto’s corporate culture. The Elroq Respectline features a unique exterior and interior design that highlights the importance of human rights and equitable treatment for all. The car’s striking “háček” motif, taken from the Czech letter “Š,” pays tribute to Škoda’s Czech origins, with the company celebrating its 130-year legacy this year.

The first public appearance of the Elroq Respectline will take place at the Best Cars 2025 awards event in Hamburg, Germany, on May 9, followed by a performance at Škoda Auto’s music festival in Mladá Boleslav on May 10. Additionally, the vehicle has been designed with sustainability in mind, using recycled materials from the Elroq model and featuring progressive rainbow embroidery on the seats and bold interior elements. These design features celebrate diversity and highlight how different perspectives contribute to strength and unity when embraced with mutual respect.

Škoda’s commitment to diversity extends beyond the vehicle. The company has also partnered with Czech shoemaker Botas to create a limited-edition sneaker inspired by the Elroq Respectline. The sneakers feature rainbow embroidery on the sides, reinforcing Škoda’s stance on inclusion and diversity.

Throughout European Diversity Month, Škoda is hosting a variety of events, including lectures and workshops for employees. The company continues to emphasize its commitment to these values in its “Next Level Škoda” strategy and its Diversity Strategy 2030, with ongoing reports on sustainability and diversity to be released later this month.

The Elroq Respectline will also be showcased at major events such as the Metronome Prague music festival, Prague Pride, the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra’s Open Air concert, and the Tour de France this summer.
