Škoda Auto Drives Sustainability at the 2025 Tour de France Femmes avec Fleet of 32 Electrified Support Vehicles

The organisers will have 32 fully electric and plug-in hybrid Škoda Enyaq and Superb iV models at their disposal, with Race Director Marion Rousse using a new Enyaq as her ‘Red Car’.

(IN BRIEF) Škoda Auto is providing 32 fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles to support the 2025 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, the longest and most demanding edition in the race’s history. From 26 July to 3 August, 154 riders from 22 teams will cross 1,165 kilometres of varied terrain, with Race Director Marion Rousse leading in a specially equipped Enyaq ‘Red Car’. Škoda also continues its sponsorship of the Green Jersey and is marking its 130th anniversary with a uniquely designed crystal trophy. The automaker’s support goes beyond logistics, engaging fans through digital platforms like WeLoveCycling.com and emphasizing values such as inclusion and sustainability through vehicle showcases like the Elroq Respectline. (PRESS RELEASE) MLADÁ BOLESLAV, 25-Jul-2025 — /EuropaWire/ —  ŠKODA AUTO is once again supporting the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift as the official main partner and vehicle supplier, providing a fleet of 32 fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles for the 2025 edition of the race. This year’s event, running from 26 July to 3 August, will mark the most challenging version of the women’s race yet, covering a record-breaking 1,165 km across nine stages from Vannes in Brittany to Châtel in the French Alps.

The electrified Škoda fleet, which includes the all-electric Enyaq and plug-in hybrid Superb iV models, will accompany 154 riders from 22 teams through a course featuring 17,240 metres of total elevation gain. Leading the race will be Race Director Marion Rousse in her specially equipped ‘Red Car’ Enyaq, showcasing the latest in communication and electric mobility technology.

Škoda Auto continues its long-standing sponsorship of the Green Jersey awarded to the leader of the points classification and has created a special trophy to commemorate its 130th anniversary. Designed by the Škoda Design team, the trophy is made of green crystal and prominently features a commemorative Škoda logo.
