Skanska sold a logistics facility to be built in Arlandastad, Sigtuna to Logicenters for SEK 230 M

STOCKHOLM, 13-Jun-2018 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska has sold a logistics facility to be built in Arlandastad, Sigtuna, for about SEK 230 M. The buyer is Logicenters. The divestment will be recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Nordic in the second quarter 2018. The transfer of the property is scheduled for the second quarter 2019.

The logistics facility will cover 24,600 square meters and lease contracts have already been signed with Aditro Logistics, which moves in when the property is completed. The facility has modern specifications, adapted to the tenant.

Arlandastad is a well-established business area in a strategic location. With its proximity to both Stockholm City and Arlanda Airport, the area has become an important focal point and grows as a logistics hub. The new facility will be located in good signage position directly adjacent to the E4.

The project will start immediately and the plant is expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2019.

Skanska is one of the leading development and construction companies in the Nordics, with operations in building construction and civil engineering in Sweden, Norway and Finland, and developing residential- and commercial property projects in select home markets. The commercial development stream is also active in Denmark. Skanska offers services in public-private partnerships. Skanska had sales of about SEK 65 billion and more than 15,000 employees in its Nordic operations during 2017.
