Schindler Elevates Nitin Chalke to Lead Asia Pacific on Executive Committee from July 2025

(IN BRIEF) Effective July 1, 2025, Schindler is refreshing its Group Executive Committee. Nitin Chalke—formerly Country Head for Schindler India—will step into the Asia Pacific role, succeeding Robert Seakins who is retiring after 22 years at the company. Chalke’s longstanding Schindler tenure (beginning in 1998), combined with senior roles at Eaton Corporation and his impactful return in 2023, positions him to lead Asia Pacific’s continued growth. The newly formed Committee, chaired by CEO Paolo Compagna, includes ten executives covering finance, technology, regions, and human resources.

(PRESS RELEASE) EBIKON, 20-Jun-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — On June 19, 2025, Schindler’s Board of Directors announced leadership adjustments to the Group Executive Committee, effective July 1, 2025. Nitin Chalke, who currently serves as Country Head of Schindler India, will join the Committee as the new Asia Pacific Executive. He succeeds Robert Seakins, who will step down after 22 years with Schindler—eight of which were spent on the Committee—and retire following a distinguished career that bolstered the company’s performance in Asia Pacific and enhanced Field Quality and Excellence.

Nitin Chalke’s affiliation with Schindler began in 1998 when he was appointed Field Operations Director in India. He later gained broad regional experience at Eaton Corporation, holding senior leadership positions across Asia Pacific and North America. Since his return to Schindler in 2023 as Country Head for India, Chalke has driven notable business growth. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Sardar Patel College of Engineering and a Management and Marketing degree from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, both in Mumbai.

Starting July 1, 2025, the Group Executive Committee will comprise: Paolo Compagna (Chief Executive Officer), Carla De Geyseleer (Chief Financial Officer and Deputy CEO), Matteo Attrovio (Chief Information Officer), Danilo Calabrò (Head of Europe South), Donato Carparelli (Chief Technology Officer), Nitin Chalke (Head of Asia Pacific), Patrick Hess (Head of Europe North), Vikén Martarian (Head of Americas and Escalators), Hugo Martinho (Head of Human Resources), and Meinolf Pohle (Head of China).
