Renewable Energy Veteran Heiko Wuttke to Lead PNE AG as New CEO Starting January 2025

Wuttke, with nearly 30 years of experience in renewable energy, will replace Markus Lesser, who stepped down in July 2024. Interim CEO Per Hornung Pedersen, who temporarily filled the role, will remain on the Board of Management after Wuttke takes over. Wuttke, previously CEO of 8.2 Consulting AG, brings extensive leadership experience from various roles in the energy sector and is set to guide PNE toward its ambitious goals.

(PRESS RELEASE) CUXHAVEN, 20-Sep-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — PNE AG’s Supervisory Board has officially appointed Heiko Wuttke as the new CEO of the company. Wuttke, who brings nearly three decades of experience in the renewable energy sector, will assume his role as a member and chairman of the Board of Management on 13 January 2025. His contract will run until 31 January 2028.

Marc van’t Noordende, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Heiko Wuttke as our new CEO. Wuttke, born in 1968, brings a wealth of leadership experience from various roles within the energy sector. Since 2022, he has served as CEO of 8.2 Consulting AG, a consulting firm specializing in renewable energy. Prior to that, he held executive positions, including roles at PROKON Regenerative Energien eG, Vattenfall Europe Windkraft GmbH, and Repower Systems AG, where he managed global onshore sales.

Wuttke will succeed Markus Lesser, who stepped down as CEO in July 2024 for personal reasons. Pedersen, who temporarily stepped in as CEO from the Supervisory Board, will continue serving on the Board of Management as a member without specific responsibilities from 13 January 2025 until 31 March 2025.
