Plenitude Secures 10-Year PPA with Autostrade per l’Italia to Supply 390 GWh from 16 MW Wind Plant and Accelerate Energy Transition in Italy

(IN BRIEF) Plenitude has signed a decade-long Power Purchase Agreement with Autostrade per l’Italia for the complete output of a 16 MW wind power plant located in Banzi, Basilicata. The plant is expected to generate approximately 390 GWh over the agreement period. The deal also entails the transfer of guarantees of origin for the full production, supporting Autostrade per l’Italia’s decarbonization efforts. (PRESS RELEASE) MILAN, 10-Apr-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Plenitude has secured a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement with Autostrade per l’Italia for the complete sale of the energy output from its wind power facility located in the municipality of Banzi in Basilicata, Italy. With a generation capacity of 16 MW, the plant is projected to produce around 390 GWh of electricity over the duration of the agreement. In addition to purchasing the electric energy, Autostrade per l’Italia will also acquire the guarantees of origin associated with the plant’s production, thereby playing a direct role in reducing its carbon footprint and supporting the broader decarbonization efforts of its operations.
