(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 29-Jul-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — PATRIZIA, a leading global real assets investment manager, has named Ker Gilchrist as Head of Investment Management UK, significantly bolstering its investment leadership across the UK and Europe. In his new capacity, Gilchrist will spearhead PATRIZIA’s UK investment platform, shaping strategy, overseeing a £5 billion+ portfolio and driving the sourcing and execution of new real estate opportunities.

Gilchrist brings over three decades of UK real estate and capital markets expertise. Most recently as Managing Partner at BentallGreenOak, he directed the investment strategy for Welput—the UK’s largest unlisted office fund—refocusing its holdings on sustainable, best‑in‑class developments such as the 500,000 sq ft mixed‑use 105 Victoria Street in London, and forging partnerships with major institutions including PSP Investments. His earlier senior roles at Quintain, Knight Frank, Savills and JLL cemented his reputation for delivering value‑driven, cross‑border transactions and market‑leading execution.

A former board member of the Westminster Property Association and Investment Property Forum, Gilchrist is renowned for his commitment to ESG and wellness‑focused investment approaches—principles that align closely with PATRIZIA’s own sustainability agenda.

“I’ve admired PATRIZIA’s blend of strong values and a forward‑looking investment vision for nearly a decade,” said Ker Gilchrist. “With international capital increasingly selective—especially in the office sector where quality and sustainability are paramount—PATRIZIA’s integrated real estate and infrastructure platform stands out. I look forward to expanding our footprint in the UK and Ireland alongside a team I respect and enjoy working with.”

PATRIZIA currently manages over €56 billion in real assets worldwide, of which approximately €5.3 billion is invested in the UK.

“Ker’s appointment represents a transformative moment for our UK business,” commented James Muir, Head of the Investment Division at PATRIZIA. “His strategic acumen, deep investor relationships and exceptional leadership record—demonstrated across some of the UK’s most high‑profile transactions—will elevate our UK platform and enhance our global investment capabilities.”
