PATRIZIA Appoints Gus Wiseman as Director, UK Product to Drive Domestic Expansion

(IN BRIEF) PATRIZIA has appointed Gus Wiseman as Director, UK Product, based in London, in a strategic move to support the firm’s expansion across real estate, impact investing, and infrastructure in the UK. Wiseman joins from the UK Government, where he served as Global Head of Investor Relations at the Office for Investment and played a key role in the Sterling 20 initiative aimed at mobilising pension capital into productive assets. In his new role, he will help develop PATRIZIA’s UK capital strategy, deepen relationships with institutional investors, and align the firm’s investment activities with evolving public policy and regulatory priorities, particularly in housing, regeneration, and social infrastructure.

(PRESS RELEASE) AUGSBURG, 7-Feb-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — PATRIZIA has strengthened its UK leadership team with the appointment of Gus Wiseman as Director, UK Product, a strategic move designed to accelerate the firm’s growth across real estate, impact investing, and infrastructure. Based in London, Wiseman will play a central role in deepening PATRIZIA’s engagement with institutional investors, public-sector stakeholders, and policy makers as the company continues to expand its presence in the UK market.

The appointment reflects PATRIZIA’s broader ambition to position itself at the intersection of private capital and public policy, particularly in sectors where long-term investment can deliver both financial returns and measurable social impact. By bringing in senior talent with experience across government, finance, and policy, the firm is reinforcing its ability to align investment strategies with evolving national priorities.

Wiseman joins PATRIZIA from the UK Government, where he most recently served as Global Head of Investor Relations at the Office for Investment, a joint unit operating across No.10 Downing Street, HM Treasury, and the Department for Business and Trade. In that role, he worked closely with ministers, regulators, and institutional investors to shape the UK’s international investment engagement strategy. He also played a leading role in developing the Sterling 20 initiative, which sought to channel domestic pension capital into productive long-term investments in infrastructure, housing, and private markets.

At PATRIZIA, Wiseman’s responsibilities will focus on two core areas. First, he will support the firm’s UK capital development strategy by working alongside senior leadership to broaden relationships with domestic and international investors. His efforts will concentrate on identifying and mobilising long-term capital aligned with PATRIZIA’s expertise in the built environment, with particular emphasis on social and affordable housing, urban regeneration, and social infrastructure projects.

Second, Wiseman will apply his deep understanding of government policy, regulation, and public-private collaboration to strengthen PATRIZIA’s strategic engagement across the UK investment ecosystem. Drawing on his experience at the heart of policymaking, he will help ensure that PATRIZIA’s investment strategies remain closely aligned with shifting regulatory frameworks and national priorities, enabling the firm to structure solutions that are both commercially robust and socially beneficial.

Simon Redman, Global Head of Product at PATRIZIA, welcomed the appointment, describing Wiseman as a highly strategic addition to the team. He highlighted Wiseman’s unique insight into how government, policy, and institutional capital interact, noting that this perspective will be critical as PATRIZIA scales its UK platform, develops new investment strategies, and deepens partnerships across the market.

Wiseman expressed enthusiasm about joining PATRIZIA, emphasising the firm’s strong reputation in real assets, sustainability, and impact investing. He noted that the opportunity to bridge public policy objectives with large-scale private capital deployment is particularly compelling in areas such as housing, infrastructure, and social investment, and that he looks forward to contributing to the firm’s continued growth in the UK.

Throughout his career, Wiseman has held a range of senior roles across UK government departments, working closely with ministers, regulators, pension funds, and global investors. He is widely recognised for his contribution to shaping the UK’s approach to pension capital mobilisation and for advancing frameworks that encourage productive public-private investment partnerships.
