(PRESS RELEASE) DÜSSELDORF, 18-Feb-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Henkel has strengthened its standing in leading global sustainability benchmarks, recording improved results in the latest evaluations conducted by CDP and EcoVadis. The updated scores reflect continued progress in the company’s environmental, social, and governance performance and reinforce its positioning among companies recognized for responsible business practices.

In the CDP 2025 assessment cycle, Henkel achieved an A rating in the Climate category for the first time, marking a significant milestone in its environmental performance. The company also earned B ratings in both Water Security and Forests, demonstrating consistent management of key environmental impacts. CDP’s annual analysis evaluates how effectively companies disclose and manage climate- and environment-related risks and opportunities.

Henkel also advanced in the latest EcoVadis rating, increasing its overall score to 84 points compared with 78 points in the previous year. The improved result secured another Gold Medal for the company and places it within the top five percent of all organizations assessed globally. EcoVadis examines sustainability management across a range of criteria, including environmental stewardship, labor and human rights practices, ethical conduct, and responsible sourcing.

Beyond these two assessments, Henkel continues to rank strongly in additional sustainability evaluations, including those conducted by Morningstar Sustainalytics, ISS ESG, and MSCI ESG Ratings, highlighting the company’s broad recognition across multiple independent frameworks.

Dr. Dorli Harms, Head of ESG Disclosures and Ratings at Henkel, stated that third-party assessments play a key role in providing transparency for investors and customers while helping the company measure its progress and identify areas for further development. She added that the latest results underline both current achievements and the company’s commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability performance.
