Natixis CIB strengthens global leadership with the appointment of Khalid Krim to lead Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Coverage

(IN BRIEF) Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) has appointed Khalid Krim as Global Head of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Coverage, reporting to Alain Gallois. Krim succeeds Guillaume de Saint-Seine and brings over 25 years of experience in investment banking, having held leadership roles at Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, and Barclays Capital. Since joining Natixis CIB in 2023, he has led coverage for banks, asset managers, and international public sector clients. A graduate of Paris-Sorbonne University, Krim’s appointment strengthens Natixis CIB’s position in FIG advisory and global coverage.

(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 8-Oct-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) has announced the appointment of Khalid Krim as Global Head of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Coverage, effective immediately. In his new position, Khalid will report directly to Alain Gallois, Global Head of Advisory and Coverage and Head of EMEA, succeeding Guillaume de Saint-Seine.

With more than 25 years of experience in investment banking, Khalid brings deep expertise in capital markets and advisory for financial institutions. He joined Natixis CIB in November 2023 as Head of Banks, Asset Managers, and International Public Sector within the Financial & Sovereign Institutions department of Coverage and Advisory.

Before joining Natixis CIB, Khalid held senior leadership roles at major global financial institutions. At Credit Suisse, he served as Head of EMEA DCMS and Head of Investment Grade Capital Markets EU, after joining the firm in 2018. Between 2011 and 2018, he was Head of European FIG Capital Markets Advisory and Head of European Capital Solutions at Morgan Stanley, where he advised leading financial institutions on strategic and capital optimization initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital, and Credit Suisse in capital structuring.

A French-qualified lawyer, Khalid holds a degree from Paris-Sorbonne University, where he graduated in 1998. His appointment reflects Natixis CIB’s continued focus on strengthening client relationships across the financial institutions sector and expanding its global advisory and coverage capabilities.
