Under his leadership, National Grid has become a leader in energy networks across both the UK and US.

Paula Reynolds, Chair of National Grid, commented: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to John Pettigrew for his outstanding leadership and commitment to National Grid over the past three decades. His contributions have been transformative, and he leaves the company in a strong financial and operational position. We are confident that Zoë Yujnovich, with her deep experience and inspiring leadership, will continue this legacy and guide National Grid through the exciting growth opportunities ahead.”

John Pettigrew, outgoing Chief Executive, said: “It has been a great privilege to lead National Grid, the company I joined as a graduate. The achievements we’ve made together have been possible thanks to the incredible people I’ve worked with.
