(PRESS RELEASE) LENZING, 29-Jun-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — The Supervisory Board of Lenzing Group, a prominent supplier of regenerated cellulose fibers for the textile and nonwovens industries, has announced the appointment of Rohit Aggarwal to the Management Board. Aggarwal will assume responsibility for the fiber division in the third quarter and later transition to the role of CEO following the departure of current CEO Stephan Sielaff, whose contract expires at the end of March 2025.

Rohit Aggarwal brings extensive experience as a strategic business economist and global leader in the textile and chemical industries. With a robust background in strategic market development and management team formation across Europe, the USA, and Asia, Aggarwal is well-versed in Lenzing’s core business areas.

Stephan Sielaff, who led the company through a challenging period marked by multiple crises, will leave Lenzing Group by March 2025.
