(PRESS RELEASE) BRZOZA/WARSAW/LEINFELDEN-ECHTERDINGEN, 23-May-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Sobiesław Zasada Automotive, the authorized dealer of Daimler Truck Poland in Krakow, has successfully delivered 75 brand new Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin 1848 LS tractor units to Kawczyński Logistics. This marks a major milestone for the company, which has been a loyal customer of Sobiesław Zasada Automotive for 14 years.

“We have relied on the Mercedes-Benz Actros for many years, and the previous two generations have proven to be highly reliable,” said Stanisław Kawczyński, Managing Director of Kawczyński Logistics. “We greatly appreciate the customer-focused service of Sobiesław Zasada Automotive, and the new Actros L ProCabin will not only expand our fleet but also ensure that our operations remain efficient. Our drivers are already well-versed with Mercedes-Benz trucks, making the transition to the new models seamless.”

The new Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin trucks will immediately replace the company’s four-year-old Mercedes-Benz models. With the addition of these 75 vehicles, Kawczyński Logistics’ fleet now consists of around 295 tractor units, with a significant proportion being Mercedes-Benz trucks. “Every fleet investment is an investment in service quality, safety, and delivery reliability. We look forward to further business growth based on the advanced solutions provided by Mercedes-Benz,” Kawczyński added.

Designed for long-distance international transport, the new Actros L ProCabin 1848 LS trucks prioritize both driver comfort and modern safety assistance systems. These vehicles exceed the strict standards set by the General Safety Regulation (GSR), effective from July 2024, which mandates a variety of driver assistance systems to enhance road safety. For instance, the Active Brake Assist 6 emergency braking assistant can now perform automated full braking to a complete stop at speeds of up to 60 km/h when encountering crossing, oncoming, or lane-driving road users.

Additionally, the new trucks feature a redesigned cab with improved aerodynamics, resulting in up to a 3% reduction in fuel consumption compared to previous models. The Kawczyński Logistics fleet will now stand out on the road with their white-painted vehicles and red side logos.
