Joop van Zanten B.V. Joins SSAB’s High-Strength Steel Fabricator Network as Initiative Debuts in the Netherlands

(IN BRIEF) SSAB has officially launched its Strenx® Certified Fabricator network in the Netherlands, naming Joop van Zanten B.V. as the first Dutch company to join. The programme recognises fabricators with demonstrated excellence in producing high-strength steel components and provides them with training, material support and access to technical developments. The initiative showcases quality, innovation and sustainability, bringing together fabricators capable of working with advanced Strenx® performance steel. SSAB says the network will strengthen collaboration with OEMs and raise standards within the steel fabrication sector. Director Sara Maltén stated that the expansion aims to build a community of industry leaders committed to excellence and innovation.

The first Dutch member to join the network is Joop van Zanten B.V., a company recognised for precision, quality and continuous improvement in steel fabrication. The appointment follows SSAB’s evaluation of the company’s operational standards, innovation mindset and commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices.

Strenx® Certified Fabricators are characterised by exceptional craftsmanship, adherence to stringent production quality standards and willingness to adopt new technologies. Sustainability also plays a central role, with members encouraged to reduce emissions, improve energy efficiency and embrace SSAB’s environmentally responsible steel solutions.
