(PRESS RELEASE) DÜSSELDORF, 24-Mar-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Henkel Adhesive Technologies is set to present a range of advanced adhesive solutions for the hygiene industry at INDEX 2026, the leading global exhibition for nonwovens, taking place from May 19 to 22 in Geneva. Located in Hall 2, Booth 2255, Henkel will highlight innovations designed to help manufacturers improve operational efficiency while advancing sustainability targets without compromising product performance or process reliability.

As the personal care sector faces increasing pressure to meet environmental standards alongside demands for cost efficiency and high-quality output, Henkel is focusing on integrated solutions that combine materials, processes, and applications. The company emphasizes that the adoption of smart factory concepts and automation is becoming essential for maintaining stable production and minimizing downtime, requiring coordinated approaches across the entire value chain.

Under the theme “Automation Driving Efficiency. Less Handling, More Output,” Henkel will showcase its Easyflow® system, which integrates high-performance hot melt adhesives with an automated supply mechanism. This solution ensures a consistent and safe material flow, helping manufacturers maintain uninterrupted production lines while reducing manual handling and improving workplace safety. The system uses compact, non-sticky mini-chubs that simplify storage and application processes.

Sustainability will be another central focus of Henkel’s presentation. Guided by the principle “Cutting CO₂, not performance,” the company will introduce Technomelt DM Advance, a polyolefin-based hot melt adhesive specifically developed for absorbent hygiene products. The adhesive delivers strong bonding even at low application levels, enabling greater material efficiency and reduced consumption. It also features very low volatile organic compound (VOC) content and is both odorless and colorless, supporting improved environmental and user standards.

Ricardo Serrano, Head of Key Account Management Nonwovens EIMEA at Henkel, noted that manufacturers are increasingly seeking solutions that enhance process stability and efficiency while aligning with sustainability goals. He highlighted that Henkel’s portfolio aims to simplify workflows, improve safety, and unlock productivity gains through automation-ready systems and advanced adhesive technologies.

In addition to its core offerings, Henkel will present specialized solutions tailored to different nonwoven applications. Technomelt DF 7000, a pressure-sensitive adhesive, is designed for positioning applications such as securing absorbent pads, delivering strong adhesion and high peel strength while allowing reduced adhesive usage. Another solution, Technomelt DM 4106 UV, is suited for elastic fixation and construction applications, offering versatility, consistent performance, and simplified procurement through its multi-purpose capabilities.

By bringing together automation technologies and sustainable adhesive innovations, Henkel aims to support manufacturers in building more efficient, flexible, and environmentally responsible production systems. The company invites industry professionals to explore these solutions and engage in discussions about future-ready hygiene manufacturing at INDEX 2026.
