Experienced Rail Industry Executive to Strengthen Alstom’s Market Position and Operations in the Dutch Mobility Sector

Having previously held leadership positions at Alstom and Bombardier, he will lead the company’s Dutch operations, strengthen partnerships and support project delivery in a market seen as offering strong growth potential for sustainable mobility. Van der Snel brings more than three decades of experience across industrial and transportation sectors, including seven years with Alstom and eight years with Bombardier, where he held senior leadership positions in multiple international locations. Over the course of his career, he has developed extensive expertise spanning engineering, operations, project and product management, as well as sales and tendering activities.

In his new capacity, he will oversee Alstom’s operations in the Netherlands, focusing on delivering projects, supporting customers and partners, and advancing the company’s contribution to the country’s evolving mobility landscape.
