(PRESS RELEASE) FRANKFURT, 20-Jun-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Deutsche Bank has once again been honoured as the top-ranked institution for international markets research in the 2025 KangaNews Fixed Income Trading and Research Poll. This achievement marks one of the bank’s most comprehensive showings to date, with accolades spanning international issuance, securitisation, corporate debt, and financial institution research, as well as outstanding support on secondary-market deals and products.

The KangaNews poll—an annual benchmark for Australian sell-side research and secondary trading—recognises the analysts and brokers who underpin the domestic debt market beyond new-issue underwriting. Deutsche Bank also claimed second place for secondary-market support of Australian securitisation products and for trading coverage of deals it did not originate.

“Being acknowledged for a second consecutive year underscores the robustness of our Fixed Income & Currencies platform in Australia,” said Darren Boulos, Head of Global FX for APAC and Head of Australian Rates Trading. “It also highlights our global research team’s unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality insights, particularly during a period of pronounced market volatility.”

Individually, Kalvin Fernandes, Credit Analyst in Australia, and Mark Stone, Head of Flow Credit Trading for Australia, were both ranked fourth for their research on the Australian credit and securitisation markets, respectively.
