This strategic move aims to enhance operational efficiency and increase business leverage across Europe and Asia.

The newly formed organization will be the second-largest within Delivery Hero and will be led by Tareq Barto, who is currently the Chief Operating Officer of talabat at Delivery Hero.

By merging these businesses, Delivery Hero aims to unlock synergies that will drive accelerated growth for foodora, Yemeksepeti, and foodpanda, ultimately benefiting millions of customers across both continents. The merger will leverage Delivery Hero’s advanced Pandora platform technology, ensuring a seamless transition with no impact on customers, vendors, or partners of the individual brands.

This merger is a key component of Delivery Hero’s strategy to sustain profitable growth and reinforce its global market leadership.

While the merger will lead to changes for some employees, Delivery Hero is committed to fulfilling all legal obligations and providing adequate support for those affected.
