Cisco VP Jose Van Dijk keynote speaker at the Entrepreneurial Day of the University of Twente on 13 June 2017

ENSCHEDE, 10-May-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — Jose Van Dijk, Vice President, Planning, Operations and Program Management Cloud Services, Platforms and Office of the CTO at Cisco, will make a special appearance at the University on 13 June 2017. Van Dijk will take a closer look at “Digitize: disrupt or be disrupted”. She will share her experience, expertise and ambition  as keynote speaker at the Entrepreneurial Day of the University of Twente.

‘Digitize: disrupt or be disrupted’ is the motto of our keynote speaker Jose van Dijk with Cisco Systems. These are clearly exciting times for those who dare to take the driver’s seat in digitization.

Van Dijk will focus her talk on several questions. Why is the acceleration of a country’s digitization important? And what is the impact on business? What are the different stages of differentiation? Van Dijk will give Cisco’s view on digitization and entrepreneurship. What’s in it for the entrepreneur? And what role does digitization play on Cisco’s acquisition strategy? She will consider the challenges that are specific for The Netherlands, such as: How does Cisco look at The Netherlands and what could be the contribution of Twente and the UT in this ongoing digitization process?

JOSE VAN DIJK

Born in Vriezenveen (Twente), Jose is Vice President, Planning, Operations and Program Management Cloud Services, Platforms and Office of the CTO at Cisco. As part of the leadership team in the Cloud Services, Platforms and Office of the CTO organization, she co-defines and synthesizes operational strategies for much of Cisco’s growth portfolio: Next-Generation Data Center, Cloud Services, Data & Analytics, Developer Innovations, and Orchestration & Management.  This includes responsibility for transforming and leading all aspects of strategy, portfolio management, fiscal year planning & execution, organizational strategy and governance.
