Chubb Enhances Resilience Services with New Leadership Appointment

(PRESS RELEASE) ZURICH, 27-Aug-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Chubb, a global leader in insurance, has appointed Amelie Fava-Verde as Senior Vice President of North America Chubb Resilience Services, a newly created role designed to strengthen the company’s risk engineering and resiliency capabilities. Fava-Verde, who brings over 20 years of experience in environmental risk and sustainability, will lead a team dedicated to developing and delivering resilience and recovery services for commercial, consumer, and government clients as they transition to a low-carbon economy.

Fava-Verde joins Chubb from KPMG LLP, where she was the U.S. ESG Hub Lead. Her extensive experience will be instrumental in expanding Chubb’s ability to help clients understand and mitigate climate-related physical risks. This initiative is part of Chubb’s broader effort to provide innovative solutions that not only offer insurance protection but also enhance client resilience in the face of climate change.

Fava-Verde holds a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental geography from University College London and a Master of Science degree in water resources technology from the University of Birmingham, U.K.
