Jyri, who will work alongside newly appointed Co-Managing Partner Tapani Pahkasalo, will lead the Natural Capital investment area, a critical component in CapMan’s growth strategy. This leadership transition follows the decision of the current Managing Partner, Olli Haltia, to move into a Senior Advisor role. Jyri’s new position is set to commence at the latest by October 2025.

Jyri brings nearly a decade of experience in forest investments and a proven track record to his new role. As Managing Partner of CapMan Natural Capital, he will also become a member of CapMan Plc’s Management Group. Olli Haltia, who has played a pivotal role in the development of Dasos Capital (now CapMan Natural Capital), will remain involved with the company in an advisory capacity, ensuring continuity and commitment to ongoing investment projects. Under Olli’s leadership, Dasos Capital grew into one of the world’s largest forest investment managers, and his legacy continues to shape the direction of CapMan Natural Capital.

In addition to Jyri’s appointment, Tapani Pahkasalo has been named Co-Managing Partner for CapMan Natural Capital earlier this year. Tapani’s years of experience at Dasos Capital, combined with Jyri’s expertise, provide a strong leadership foundation for the team to continue driving growth and excellence in natural capital investments.
