(PRESS RELEASE) MANNHEIM/ISTANBUL, 3-Apr-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Bilfinger has finalized the acquisition of key businesses from the Teknokon Group, with the transaction officially closing on April 1, 2026. The move marks a significant step in Bilfinger’s strategy to expand its regional footprint by positioning Türkiye as a central hub connecting operations across Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

The acquisition, originally agreed in December 2025, has received all necessary approvals from competition authorities and includes the integration of Teknokon Endüstri Tesisleri İnşaat ve Montaj A.Ş. and Teknokon Servis ve Bakım Hizmetleri Tic. A.Ş. The deal brings approximately 1,000 skilled professionals into the Bilfinger organization and adds a business generating annual revenues in the upper double-digit million-euro range.

With more than 30 years of experience, Teknokon has built a strong reputation in delivering maintenance, turnaround, and construction services, particularly within the oil and gas, energy, and chemicals sectors. The acquisition enhances Bilfinger’s technical capabilities while strengthening its presence in Türkiye and surrounding markets.
