Beiersdorf Group appoints Tennille Kopiasz as CEO of Chantecaille to accelerate global prestige beauty growth

Kopiasz has over 25 years of leadership experience at major beauty companies including LVMH, Coty, L’Oréal USA, and most recently as CEO of Blue Mistral. She is also a professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she mentors future beauty leaders. Her appointment comes as Chantecaille, acquired by Beiersdorf in 2022, continues to expand globally with strong 2024 growth and a successful debut in China. (PRESS RELEASE) HAMBURG, 4-Sep-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Beiersdorf Group has announced the appointment of Tennille Kopiasz as the new Chief Executive Officer of its luxury botanical skincare and cosmetics brand Chantecaille, effective September 3. She succeeds Emily Coleman and will be based at Chantecaille’s global headquarters in New York City, reporting directly to Oswald Barckhahn, Beiersdorf Executive Board Member responsible for the cosmetics business in Europe and North America, as well as the La Prairie and Chantecaille brands.

Kopiasz brings more than 25 years of beauty industry leadership across prestige, designer, and mass-market segments. She joins Chantecaille from Blue Mistral, where she served as CEO overseeing FEKKAI and Bastide under Cornell Capital. Her career also includes senior leadership positions at LVMH, including Global Chief Marketing Officer at Fresh and Senior Vice President of Marketing at Dior North America. In addition, she has held roles at Coty and L’Oréal USA across skincare, cosmetics, fragrance, and haircare. Beyond her executive career, she is an adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she teaches Leadership and mentors emerging talent with a particular focus on advancing women in the beauty industry.
