Bechtle Expands European PLM Footprint with Acquisition of Hungary’s Leading SOLIDWORKS Partner EuroSolid

(IN BRIEF) Bechtle AG has strengthened its European PLM presence by acquiring EuroSolid Zrt., Hungary’s largest SOLIDWORKS reseller and a long-standing partner of the local manufacturing industry. Founded in 2009, EuroSolid serves more than 1,000 customers with CAD, CAM, and related solutions, supported by extensive training and consulting services. The acquisition expands Bechtle’s PLM operations to nine European countries and is expected to generate strong synergies across development services and partner solution distribution. EuroSolid’s management team will remain in place, ensuring continuity while benefiting from Bechtle’s international scale, expertise, and resources.

(PRESS RELEASE) NECKARSULM / BUDAPEST, 13-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Bechtle AG, one of Europe’s leading IT service providers, is further expanding its footprint in the European Product Lifecycle Management market through the acquisition of EuroSolid Zrt., Hungary’s largest reseller of Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS solutions. Headquartered in Budapest, EuroSolid has been part of the Hungarian engineering and manufacturing ecosystem since its founding in 2009. The company employs 31 specialists and generated revenues of €3.5 million in the last financial year. Following the acquisition, managing partners Zoltán Wiesler and Csaba Zombor will continue to lead the business, ensuring continuity for customers and partners alike.

With this strategic move, Bechtle extends its PLM activities to a total of nine European markets, reinforcing its ambition to build a tightly connected, pan-European PLM network. EuroSolid brings with it a strong customer base of more than 1,000 manufacturing companies across Hungary, supported by a broad portfolio spanning CAD, CAM, and complementary software solutions. In addition to technology implementation, the company is well known for its training, consulting, and support services, as well as its long-standing cooperation with universities and educational institutions throughout the country.

Bechtle anticipates that the integration of EuroSolid will unlock substantial synergies across its existing PLM operations in Europe. These include closer collaboration in development services, enhanced distribution of partner solutions, and deeper knowledge sharing across markets. According to Bechtle, adding another established SOLIDWORKS partner strengthens its competitive position while accelerating the scalable growth of its PLM, engineering, and manufacturing solutions portfolio.

For EuroSolid, joining the Bechtle Group represents a significant step in its continued development. The company plans to leverage Bechtle’s international reach, technical depth, and organizational strength to further enhance its offerings, while maintaining its strong local presence and customer-centric approach in Hungary. Both managing directors underline that customers will continue to work with the same experienced teams, now supported by broader international expertise and resources.

As is standard practice, the financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Completion of the acquisition remains subject to approval by the relevant regulatory authorities.
