(PRESS RELEASE) KORTRIJK, 5-Sep-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Barco Residential, recognized worldwide as a leader in high-end residential entertainment solutions, is set to showcase its latest breakthroughs in luxury home cinema at CEDIA 2025, scheduled from September 4 to 6 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado, USA. The highlight of this year’s presentation includes two new LED walls—Runar and TruePix Bifrost TP-I—together with the company’s most advanced projector platform, Heimdall+ Cinemascope, designed to deliver uncompromising image quality and immersive experiences for discerning homeowners.

Runar: The first DCI-certified HDR LED wall for residential spaces

Runar marks a milestone as the first LED wall designed specifically for the residential market to achieve DCI (Digital Cinema Initiatives) HDR certification. With its 0.9 mm pixel pitch and native 4K resolution (4,096 x 2,160), Runar introduces cinema-grade visuals into luxury homes. Inspired by Nordic design principles, Runar combines minimalist aesthetics with cutting-edge engineering, integrating Micro LED in Package (MIP) technology to deliver outstanding contrast and precision. It features 100,000:1 contrast ratio, ultra-deep 0.005 cd/m² black levels, and full DCI-P3 color coverage. The display delivers both DCI-grade HDR at 300 nits and consumer HDR at 500 nits, ensuring a flawless cinematic experience. Runar is scheduled to ship in mid-2026, with its CEDIA demo also highlighting the award-winning Model S soundbar from Steinway Lyngdorf.

TruePix Bifrost TP-I: Brightness and efficiency redefined

The second LED wall making its debut, TruePix Bifrost TP-I (TP0.9-I), is designed for residential spaces with higher ambient light. Featuring Flip Chip technology, the wall offers improved energy efficiency, enhanced black levels, and exceptional durability. With brightness levels exceeding 1,800 nits (and peaks of over 2,300 nits), the display ensures dramatic HDR content reproduction while minimizing power consumption. Like other Barco Residential DV-LED products, the TP-I includes the company’s White Glove Service for flawless installation. This demo also features a custom speaker frame from Leon, combining premium acoustics with sleek design.

Commenting on the dual innovations, Mehmet Kaya, Vice President of Barco Residential, said: “Barco Residential is uniquely positioned as the only company bridging both worlds: DCI-certified HDR LED with cinema-grade credibility, and residential-tuned products such as TruePix and Vali NT.”

Heimdall+ Cinemascope: A new era in projection

Beyond LED walls, Barco Residential will present the Heimdall+ Cinemascope, its quietest and most powerful projector yet. Powered by Barco’s RGB laser technology, the projector delivers 6,000 ANSI lumens brightness, 100% DCI-P3 and 98% REC 2020 coverage, and operates at an ultra-quiet 29 dB—ideal for in-room setups. Paired with a 174-inch Stewart Cinemascope screen and Meridian speaker system, the demo promises an unparalleled cinematic experience. Content will be delivered through Kaleidescape with MadVR processing.

Exclusive partner showcases

Attendees at CEDIA 2025 will also be able to experience Barco Residential technology in collaboration with partners. A notable highlight is the Heimdall+ Cinemascope with EN83 lens at the Storm Audio #SR6 demo, featuring a 15.7.8-channel setup with PMC Speakers, MadVR, and a 60-inch infrasonic subwoofer from Deus Audio Machines. Additional displays include Heimdall+ at L-Acoustics (Booth #4025) and Njord CS at Steinway Lyngdorf (Room MR203 HPA).
