Amundi Names New Leaders for Real Assets, Sabadell Asset Management and Fund Channel

(IN BRIEF) Amundi has announced multiple senior leadership appointments effective January 1, 2026, strengthening its Real and Alternative Assets division and key affiliated entities. Alexandre Lefebvre has been named Deputy Head of Real and Alternative Assets, while Pierre-Adrien Domon becomes Chief Executive Officer of Sabadell Asset Management. Michaël Martineau has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Fund Channel, and Claire Chabrier takes on the role of Head of Direct Investments – Private Markets. The appointments reflect Amundi’s focus on leadership continuity, operational expertise, and long-term strategic development across its asset management platforms.

(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 2-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Amundi, Europe’s largest asset manager, has announced a series of senior leadership appointments across its Real and Alternative Assets division and affiliated entities, reinforcing its governance, operational leadership, and strategic capabilities. The appointments, effective January 1, 2026, include Alexandre Lefebvre as Deputy Head of Real and Alternative Assets, Pierre-Adrien Domon as Chief Executive Officer of Sabadell Asset Management, Michaël Martineau as Chief Executive Officer of Fund Channel, and Claire Chabrier as Head of Direct Investments – Private Markets within the Real and Alternative Assets division.

Alexandre Lefebvre has been appointed Deputy Head of Amundi’s Real and Alternative Assets division, marking the latest step in a long-standing career within the Amundi group that began in 1999. Over the years, he has held a range of senior operational and investment roles, including responsibilities in financial operations, external growth initiatives, and the coordination of Asian entities during his time at Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management and Crédit Agricole Asset Management. In 2010, he became Chief Operating Officer of Amundi Iberia, overseeing control and development functions for the Spanish subsidiary. He later joined Amundi’s London office, where he led institutional portfolio management activities for emerging markets and headed the Investment Specialists team for the Global Fixed Income platform. In 2020, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sabadell Asset Management. Alexandre Lefebvre is a graduate of Telecom Business School and holds an MSc in International Finance from HEC.

Pierre-Adrien Domon has been named Chief Executive Officer of Sabadell Asset Management. He brings extensive experience in fund distribution, client relations, and business development. His career began in London at Natixis Axeltis, now Euroclear FundsPlace, before he joined Fund Channel in 2009 as Managing Director of its Swiss subsidiary. He later became Head of Business Development for Fund Channel Group in Luxembourg, was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer in 2019, and assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of Fund Channel in 2020. In 2026, he transitions to lead Sabadell Asset Management. Pierre-Adrien Domon holds an MSc in Finance from EDHEC Business School.

Michaël Martineau has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Fund Channel, bringing more than 25 years of experience spanning banking, finance, and technology. After starting his career in Paris, he joined Fund Channel’s Luxembourg headquarters in 2009 as an IT manager and subsequently took on broader responsibilities covering operations, IT, and product strategy. He served as Chief Operating Officer from 2019 and was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Products, Strategy, and Innovation in 2025. In his new role, he continues to build on his contribution to the platform’s transformation, including leading major structuring projects and the recent launch of Fund Channel Liquidity, a solution tailored to corporate treasurers.

Claire Chabrier has been appointed Head of Direct Investments – Private Markets within Amundi’s Real and Alternative Assets division. She brings 25 years of experience in private equity, having begun her career at Arthur Andersen in Audit and Transaction Services. In 2002, she joined the Private Equity team at Société Générale Asset Management, where she was responsible for activities in Eastern Europe. Since 2011, she has been part of the Amundi Private Equity Funds team, most recently serving as Managing Partner, focusing on investments in unlisted SMEs and mid-cap companies. Claire Chabrier previously served as President of France Invest from 2021 to 2023 and holds degrees from the University of Paris Dauphine in accounting, financial sciences, and corporate taxation.
