SGS awarded ACG Associated Capsules’ site in Pithampur, India an EXCiPACT certificate

SGS, one of EXCiPACTs’s internationally recognized certification bodies, is proud to announce that we have awarded ACG Associated Capsules’ site in Pithampur, India an EXCiPACT certificate.

GENEVA, 25-Oct-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — This demonstrates that the Pithampur site manufactures pharmaceutical excipients according to the EXCiPACT Good Manufacturing Practice Certification Standard. This standard covers the manufacture of hard gelatin capsule shells IP, hard gelatin capsule shells and empty hydroxyl propyl methyl cellulose capsule shells.

The auditors at ACG Associated Capsules in Pithampur had to undergo a rigorous assessment process in order for the company to become certified. This included the successful completion of the EXCiPACT training program and a post-course examination. Prior to issuing the certificate, SGS had an auditor’s report from ACG Associated Capsules verified by an independent certification board to ensure that the required levels of competency were met.
