Fokker Services and EADS Sogerma’s Composites Atlantic signed marketing and distribution agreement for factory new Dash 8 100/200/300* spare parts

Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, 15-11-2013 — /EuropaWire/ — Fokker Services, part of Fokker Technologies and Composites Atlantic Limited, a subsidiary of EADS Sogerma, signed a Marketing and Distribution agreement for the sale and distribution of factory new Dash 8  100/200/300* spare parts.

Under the agreement, Composites Atlantic, as the original equipment manufacturer of a wide range of components for the aerospace industry, grants Fokker Services the worldwide right to market and sell Composites Atlantic’s existing, surplus Dash 8 inventory.

The inventory consists of almost 200 unique part numbers and contains amongst others leading edges, fairings and structural panels and covers. All spare parts are in Factory New condition and are available for immediate purchase through the Fokker Services Customer Support centers in Atlanta, Amsterdam and Singapore.

This agreement is another important step in Fokker Services’ efforts to leverage its unique integrated service capabilities to provide continued support to the Dash 8 100/200/300* turboprop market globally.

In 2011 Fokker Services also entered into a Strategic Alliance with Bombardier to launch FLY for Dash 8, a program aimed at improving the availability of components and reducing the cost of repairs for Dash 8 100/200/300* aircraft operators. The program also helps operators to better predict and budget for material maintenance.
