(IN BRIEF) ISS has been awarded a full Integrated Facilities Services contract by a major life sciences and pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, with an annual value of close to DKK 300 million. The agreement expands ISS’s role from subcontractor to primary service partner, covering a broad range of technical, workplace, logistics, and laboratory services across four locations. With an initial three-year term starting in Q2 2026 and an option for extension, the contract strengthens ISS’s presence in the Swiss life sciences market and reinforces its integrated, digitally enabled approach to facilities management.

(PRESS RELEASE) SØBORG, 18-Dec-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — ISS has secured a significant new Integrated Facilities Services contract with a major life sciences and pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, strengthening its position as a strategic facilities management partner in the sector. The agreement, valued at close to DKK 300 million annually, covers a comprehensive range of services delivered across four sites in the country.

Under the new arrangement, ISS will transition from providing selected services as a subcontractor to acting as the customer’s primary and direct facilities services partner. The expanded role reflects the evolution of the long-standing relationship between the two organisations and supports the customer’s operational and workplace requirements through a fully integrated service model.

The scope of the contract includes a wide portfolio of technical services such as maintenance, repair and operations, building inspections, and both preventive and corrective maintenance. In addition, ISS will deliver cleaning services, grounds and winter maintenance, logistics and postal services, workplace support, and laboratory services. These offerings will be coordinated through an integrated facilities management setup, featuring a central customer helpdesk and on-site coordination teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

The contract will run for an initial period of three years, with an option to extend for a further two years. Service delivery is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2026, marking the start of an expanded partnership focused on reliability, efficiency, and future-ready workplace solutions.

By leveraging integrated service delivery and digital solutions, ISS aims to support safe, high-performing work environments that enable the customer to focus on its core mission within the life sciences and pharmaceutical sector.
