(IN BRIEF) Accenture, via its subsidiary BOSLAN, has been appointed by ScottishPower Renewables to supervise manufacturing and quality control for key components of the East Anglia TWO offshore wind farm. BOSLAN will oversee inspections, quality management, logistics supervision, and offshore construction coordination for assets including turbines, substations, and cabling. Located off the Suffolk coast, the 960-MW wind farm is expected to power almost one million homes once operational in 2028, with Accenture and BOSLAN supporting efficient delivery and high-quality execution of one of the UK’s largest renewable energy projects.

(PRESS RELEASE) DUBLIN, 20-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Accenture, through its infrastructure and capital projects specialist BOSLAN, has been selected by ScottishPower Renewables to supervise manufacturing and quality control for key components of the East Anglia TWO offshore wind farm in the North Sea. The appointment underscores Accenture’s growing role in supporting large-scale renewable energy developments by combining industry expertise with advanced project delivery and digital capabilities.

BOSLAN, an Accenture company, will oversee the acceptance and quality assurance of critical assets for the project, including offshore and onshore substations, platform foundations, inter-array cables, export cables, wind turbines, and other mechanical equipment. A multidisciplinary team of fabrication engineers, electrical engineers, welding inspectors, and specialist personnel will deliver both onshore and offshore services to ensure that components meet strict quality, safety, and performance standards.

The scope of work includes inspections at manufacturing facilities producing key components, quality management across the supply chain, supervision of pre-assembly quality assurance processes, oversight of inspection services for onshore and offshore logistics, and coordination of offshore construction and installation activities. This comprehensive approach is designed to support efficient execution and schedule discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

Located approximately 33 kilometers off the Suffolk coast, the wind farm will feature 64 turbines with a combined capacity of up to 960 megawatts, capable of generating enough green electricity to power nearly one million homes. Offshore construction is expected to begin in 2027, with the wind farm scheduled to become operational in 2028.
