Micaela Thorström will become Executive Vice President, People and Legal, General Counsel, expanding her current role overseeing the company’s legal functions. Chief Financial Officer Niclas Rosenlew will take on additional duties, representing Communications and Brand in the Group Leadership Team. The restructuring follows the planned departure of Executive Vice President, People and Communication, Katariina Kravi, who will leave Stora Enso at the end of 2025 to pursue new career opportunities. Micaela Thorström has been appointed Executive Vice President, People and Legal, General Counsel. She has been a member of Stora Enso’s Group Leadership Team since 2023, where she has served as Executive Vice President, Legal and General Counsel. In her expanded role, she will lead the company’s People and Legal functions, continuing to contribute her strategic expertise in governance and organizational development.

Additionally, Chief Financial Officer Niclas Rosenlew will take on further responsibilities within the Group Leadership Team, representing the Communications and Brand divisions alongside his existing financial duties. This adjustment aims to ensure seamless coordination across Stora Enso’s key operational areas, aligning communication and financial strategies to support the company’s long-term business objectives.

The leadership reshuffle follows the earlier announcement that Katariina Kravi, Executive Vice President, People and Communication, will depart Stora Enso at the end of 2025 to pursue new professional opportunities. Kravi’s leadership has played a central role in shaping Stora Enso’s culture and internal communications, and the company extends its appreciation for her significant contributions over the years.
