(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 22-Oct-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Atos, a global leader in AI-powered digital transformation, has successfully delivered the full suite of essential services for two major international Para Sports events held almost simultaneously in Asia: the World Para Swimming Championships Singapore 2025 and the World Para Athletics Championships New Delhi 2025. The dual achievement underscores Atos’ long-standing commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and technological excellence in global sports.

The World Para Swimming Championships Singapore 2025, hosted for the first time in Asia, took place from September 21 to 27, 2025, at the OCBC Aquatic Centre and was organized by the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC). Featuring 585 athletes from 74 nations, the event drew 19,000 spectators and a global broadcast audience, celebrating world-class performances by athletes with physical, visual, and intellectual disabilities under the World Para Swimming classification system.

Shortly afterward, New Delhi hosted the World Para Athletics Championships from September 27 to October 5, 2025, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN). The largest Paralympic sporting event ever held in India welcomed over 1,000 athletes from more than 100 countries, competing in 186 medal events across track and field disciplines. To ensure fairness, Atos’ systems integrated classification data that accounts for athletes’ varying impairments, safeguarding the integrity of competition.

Atos managed the planning, preparation, orchestration, and operations for both championships, providing comprehensive on-site and remote technology services. The company’s responsibilities included the On-Venue Results (OVR) system for accurate real-time data on start lists, timing, scoring, and results, as well as graphics integration for live broadcast distribution. Given the complexity of adaptive sports classifications, Atos’ robust technologies ensured flawless execution, smooth data delivery, and an optimal experience for athletes, organizers, and global audiences alike.

“As a long-standing, loyal partner to the Para Sports movement, we are proud that Atos has once again been instrumental in providing technology solutions that helped competitors give the best of themselves during these two events,” said Nacho Moros, Head of Atos Major Events.

For over 30 years, Atos’ Major Events Division has played a key role in global sports, from the Olympic and Paralympic Games to the UEFA Euro 2024, UEFA Nations League Final 2025, and the Special Olympics Torino Winter Games 2025. Its expertise in delivering high-performance, secure, and sustainable digital solutions continues to set benchmarks in event management and sports innovation.

With these latest achievements, Atos reaffirms its leadership in digital transformation for sports organizations and its enduring partnership with global sporting bodies dedicated to accessibility, performance, and inclusion.
