BAE Systems and PragoData Join Forces to Modernize Lifecycle Management in Czech Defence Operations

(IN BRIEF) BAE Systems and Czech systems integrator PragoData a.s. have entered into a collaboration to enhance Integrated Product Support (IPS) within the Czech defence sector, aiming to improve the readiness and lifecycle management of key military assets. Initially, BAE Systems will provide PragoData with asset management tools, including its PropheSEA™ system, already used by the UK Royal Navy and NATO partners. PropheSEA™, supported by Eurostep’s ShareAspace software, enables full asset lifecycle visibility and secure information exchange. Both companies intend to merge their technological and consulting strengths to help Czech defence organisations modernise and optimise logistics support systems. PragoData brings local expertise in defence consulting, strengthened by its acquisition of CALS Systems and specialization in ASD S-Series standards. Executives Campbell Harte of BAE Systems and Lubomír Toman of PragoData highlighted the partnership’s strategic importance for bolstering digital defence capabilities in Czechia amid evolving geopolitical challenges. Over the next decade, the collaboration will focus on establishing advanced frameworks for asset support and planning across Czech defence operations.

(PRESS RELEASE) FARNBOROUGH, 9-Oct-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — BAE Systems and PragoData a.s., a Czech systems integrator and consulting firm, have announced a new collaboration aimed at strengthening Integrated Product Support (IPS) capabilities within the Czech defence sector. The initiative is designed to enhance the readiness and sustainment of critical defence assets, including armoured vehicles, ensuring they remain mission capable in the long term.

As an initial step, BAE Systems will provide PragoData with access to its IPS-related products and services to support advanced asset management solutions. Over time, the two companies plan to integrate their expertise and technologies to assist Czech defence organisations in modernising their support systems and optimising the lifecycle management of complex military assets.

BAE Systems brings decades of experience in asset management through its data-driven and systems integration platform, PropheSEA™, a core element of its offering. Already deployed across the UK Royal Navy and NATO allies, PropheSEA™ enables full lifecycle visibility and decision-making capabilities for mission-critical equipment. Its capabilities are further enhanced by Eurostep, a BAE Systems company specialising in data standards and information exchange. Eurostep’s ShareAspace collaboration software — widely used by NATO defence organisations and leading industry contractors — serves as a key component of PropheSEA™, enabling secure, efficient data sharing.

“In today’s fast-changing threat environment, maintaining asset readiness and reliability is more essential than ever,” said Campbell Harte, Head of Business Development and Sales at Eurostep, part of BAE Systems’ Digital Intelligence business. “BAE Systems has deep expertise and proven solutions in the IPS domain, and by partnering with PragoData, we are extending that knowledge to our Czech partners. Together, we aim to build effective, technology-driven support structures founded on people, processes, and innovation.”

PragoData, a long-standing partner of the Czech Armed Forces, provides consulting and software solutions for Integrated Product Support, including product lifecycle management systems. Following its acquisition of CALS Systems, PragoData has expanded its consulting capabilities in ASD S-Series standards — a vital framework for defence logistics and support systems.

“By joining forces with BAE Systems, PragoData strengthens its role in digital defence and security innovation,” said Lubomír Toman, Chief Sales Officer at PragoData. “Given the current geopolitical climate, modern, interoperable defence technologies are essential. BAE Systems’ global leadership in defence digitalisation and long-term technical support will help us deliver next-generation solutions across Czechia’s defence industry.”

Looking ahead, BAE Systems and PragoData aim to develop a comprehensive framework for asset availability, planning, and lifecycle management within Czech defence organisations over the next decade. This initiative underscores both companies’ commitment to advancing digitalisation, interoperability, and long-term resilience in defence logistics.
