She will take up the role this autumn, bringing with her extensive leadership expertise and a strong track record in advancing teaching excellence, student success, and educational innovation.

Professor Pike joins UEA from Anglia Ruskin University, where she has been serving as Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education Enhancement). Speaking about her new role, Professor Pike said:
“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining UEA. From everything I have seen so far, UEA has a remarkable heritage and character as a dynamic, boundary-pushing institution that cares deeply about the education and experience of its students. I am excited to work in collaboration with staff and students across the university – and with local, national and international partners – to enhance our educational provision and student experience even further, and to make the most of education-related opportunities that will arise in the rapidly changing external environment.”

Her appointment underscores UEA’s continued commitment to placing students at the centre of its mission and to strengthening partnerships that support education, innovation, and long-term success.
