FrieslandCampina Ingredients President Ermens to Retire After 42 Years; Lindeboom Named Successor

(IN BRIEF) FrieslandCampina Ingredients President Herman Ermens will retire on 1 October 2025 after a 42-year career marked by innovation, quality improvements, and team building. Anne Peter Lindeboom, currently Managing Director Innovation for the Ingredients group, will assume the presidency. CEO Jan Derck van Karnebeek praised Ermens’s contributions to both the Ingredients division and the company’s culture, and expressed confidence in Lindeboom’s leadership. Ermens will continue serving as Chair of the Governance Board of DFE Pharma until the end of 2026, when Lindeboom will take over. Lindeboom’s 12+ years at FrieslandCampina include roles in innovation, commercial strategy, and supply chain, positioning him to drive further growth and value creation in the Ingredients business.

(PRESS RELEASE) AMERSFOORT, 2-Jul-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — As of 1 October 2025, Herman Ermens, President of FrieslandCampina Ingredients, will step down after an extraordinary 42-year tenure with the company. Succeeding him is Anne Peter Lindeboom, who presently serves as Managing Director of Innovation within the Ingredients division.

Following his retirement as President, Ermens will remain active as Chair of the Governance Board of DFE Pharma—a joint venture specializing in lactose-based pharmaceutical excipients—and will hand over that role to Lindeboom at the end of 2026.

Lindeboom brings over 12 years of FrieslandCampina experience, including leadership in innovation, commercial operations, and supply chain management. As a member of the Executive Team, he will report directly to the CEO of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V.
