(PRESS RELEASE) HELSINKI, 22-May-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Ahlstrom, a global leader in fiber-based specialty materials, has officially inaugurated its new parchmentizer, PMZ5, at the company’s Saint-Séverin plant in France on May 21st. This state-of-the-art machine plays a key role in the parchmentization process, where cellulose-based paper is treated to produce durable, grease- and water-resistant vegetable parchment, making it ideal for use in demanding applications such as food packaging.
