Kicking off the wonderful six night bonanza on 19March is popular American singer-songwriter Ryan Adams with his special guest Beth Orton. Not to be confused with Bryan, Ryan Adams has sold multiple hits in the USA and UK and proved his longevity by continuing to be a strong crowd pleaser – perfect for the first night at the Royal Albert Hall. The second night in the series promises to be one of great hilarity as funny men Russell Brand and Noel Fielding (perhaps chosen for their similar hair styles) take to the stage to offer gags and laughs aplenty.

Brit pop fans and those who enjoy a bit of good natured contention should look forward to the fourth night which sees former Oasis front man and Trust organiser Gallagher pitted out against Blur’s Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon – the ultimate 90s throwback! Joining them will be Super Furry Animals front man Gruff Rhys. There is no doubt that for many the combination of Primal Scream and Echo & The Bunnymen will be the week’s standout gig (third night) while later performances from stadium rock groups Kasabian and Dark Horses will enthral audiences. Rizzle Kicks, Labrinth and grand Modfather Paul Weller will ensure a brilliant crescendo to the week. Weller is set to headline the seventh and final night with support from indie rockers Palma Violets.
