(PRESS RELEASE) LEVICE, 6-Feb-2026 — /EuropaWire/ —  ZF Group announced the appointment of Dipl. Ing. Milan Šesták as Chief Executive Officer of ZF Slovakia, a.s., effective at the end of 2025, reinforcing the company’s leadership continuity and strategic transformation across its Slovak operations. The appointment builds on his current responsibilities and reflects ZF’s focus on operational stability, industrial competitiveness, and long-term organizational development in the region.

Since early 2025, Šesták has served as Plant Manager for ZF’s Chassis Solutions facilities in Levice and Šahy, where he has overseen both legal and operational aspects of ZF’s presence in Slovakia while directing production strategy and day-to-day management of these sites. His expanded role as CEO of ZF Slovakia now formalizes and broadens his remit across the country.

In his capacity as CEO, Šesták will have oversight of ZF’s Slovak operations spanning the Aftermarket, Chassis Solutions, and Electrified Powertrain Technology divisions. He will also act as Country Manager, with responsibility for coordinating shared services, back-office functions, and regional support structures that underpin ZF’s broader business activities in Slovakia.

As Plant Manager for Chassis Solutions in Levice, Šesták continues to lead manufacturing operations that focus on the assembly of conventional and adaptive shock absorbers in Levice, alongside welding processes carried out at the Šahy site. These facilities play a key role in ZF’s global chassis technology footprint and supply chain.

Šesták brings more than 26 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, and general management, including 16 years with full Profit & Loss responsibility in complex and rapidly evolving industrial environments. His career includes senior leadership roles at IKEA Industry, Emerson, TRW, and ZF, where he has spent the past seven years in various top management positions.

His professional development has been shaped by a strong foundation in quality management, progressing through plant leadership roles to multi-site general management positions overseeing both production facilities and shared service organizations. He holds a degree in Enterprise Management from the Technical University in Zvolen and has further broadened his expertise through executive education at Harvard in the United States and strategic management studies at Nottingham Trent University.

In his new leadership role, Šesták will prioritize operational excellence, leadership development, and organizational resilience, ensuring that ZF Slovakia remains a competitive, high-performing contributor to ZF’s global industrial network while supporting the company’s broader transformation agenda.
