(PRESS RELEASE) BERKSHIRE, 30-Oct-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Vodafone Group Plc has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Skaylink GmbH, a leading European provider of cloud, digital transformation, and cybersecurity solutions, for a total consideration of €175 million. The acquisition, primarily from funds managed by Waterland, marks a major step in Vodafone’s strategy to strengthen its business services portfolio and accelerate digital transformation offerings for enterprise and public sector customers.

Headquartered in Germany, Skaylink employs more than 500 cloud and digital experts across Europe and is widely regarded for its proficiency in managing complex Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. The company’s end-to-end expertise spans cloud infrastructure management, data security, and AI-driven business solutions—areas increasingly critical for organizations looking to modernize operations, enhance resilience, and unlock new value from digital transformation.

Through this acquisition, Vodafone Business will integrate Skaylink’s advanced technical capabilities and customer-centric service model to expand its managed cloud, AI, and cybersecurity offerings. This move is designed to support Vodafone’s enterprise customers in adopting next-generation digital solutions while reinforcing Vodafone’s role as a trusted partner in secure and scalable digital transformation.

“This acquisition will significantly strengthen Vodafone Business’ ability to deliver integrated cloud and security services at scale,” said Vodafone Group in a statement. “By combining our global connectivity and infrastructure with Skaylink’s technical depth and implementation expertise, we will help businesses accelerate their journey toward digital innovation.”

The transaction is expected to close by the end of March 2026, pending customary regulatory approvals. Once completed, Skaylink will become part of Vodafone Business, enhancing the company’s footprint across the European digital services market and expanding its capacity to deliver tailored cloud, AI, and security solutions.
