(PRESS RELEASE) LAUSANNE, 27-Jun-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Tetra Laval Group, which includes Tetra Pak, Sidel, and DeLaval, extends its heartfelt sympathies to all those impacted by the recent earthquake in Myanmar. In response to the crisis, the company has committed a financial donation to the UN World Food Programme (WFP), enabling vital support for roughly 6,400 people in the hardest-hit regions of Sagaing and Mandalay. These funds will be disbursed as monthly cash transfers, empowering affected families to purchase staples—such as rice, pulses, oil, and salt—directly from local markets and ensuring access to nutritious meals during this critical recovery phase.

Complementing this monetary aid, Tetra Pak is also providing an in-kind gift of aseptic packaging materials sufficient for 200,000 cartons of soy milk. In partnership with Dutch Mill Group—a leading dairy producer and distributor throughout Thailand, Myanmar, and neighboring countries—these cartons will be distributed to communities in need across Myanmar.

Tetra Laval reiterates its solidarity with the people of Myanmar and remains committed to supporting their journey toward recovery and stability.
